An excellent May meeting thanks to Ben Hodde at White Shield Inc. His demonstration of Terrestrial LiDAR or 3D Laser Scannning has us all motivated to get our hands on the latest high definition scanning technology.
The topic for the June 6th meeting is Corridors.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with LIDAR, here is the definition straight from Wikipedia:
LIDaR (LIght Detection and Ranging, also LADAR, sometimes Laser Imaging Detection and Ranging) is an optical remote sensing technology that can measure the distance to, or other properties of, targets by illuminating the target with laser light and analyzing the backscattered light.
If you want a clearer and more dynamic understanding of LIDAR, join us at the May BCUG meeting.
Bring your coworkers and friends!
